About Me

Georgina joined OSACO bringing twenty years’ experience investigating progressively serious crime within the United Kingdom, mainly Sexual crime, Domestic Abuse and Child Abuse. Georgina spent five years with the major crime command in London investigating and responding to Homicide. She is a safeguarding specialist and skilled in advanced interviewing of children and vulnerable people and has developed policy and led project work.

Georgina was part of the response to the London bombings in 2005 and the riots in London in 2011. She has also worked with the College of Policing, the national oversight body for policing in the UK, and has tutored investigators and managed investigation teams. More recently, Georgina led a crime team for the planning, operational and post event phases for the G7 summit in Cornwall in 2021.

Georgina currently lives in Nairobi, Kenya and volunteered as Election Chair overseeing election process for the United Nations Kenyan Local Expatriate Spouse Association (UNKLESA). She has delivered specialist Sexual Exploitation, Abuse and Harassment (SEAH) investigation training to implementing partners of a UN agency in Malawi as well as conducting investigations for NGOs / INGOs.

Key skills: Significant interviewing and investigative experience combined with an empathetic, diligent and analytical approach to work. Georgina speaks English and basic French.
